Sluicing in Mari

This talks deals with a type of ellipsis, namely, sluicing, in Meadow Mari (Uralic). I show that Mari utilizes three sluicing constructions. I investigate whether these three types of sluicing are to be derived from an isomorphic source or from a non-isomorphic one.
