CVS semantics

Traditionally, meanings are represented by formulas of some logic calculus, though distributed representations, in particlar as connection strengths in a neural network, have also been used for decades. Continuous vector space (CVS) semantics is an emerging field (see https://sites.google.com/site/cvscworkshop) that abstracts away from the neural net mechanism and investigates how meaning can be represented in low-dimensional vector spaces. Unlike most MASZAT talks, this one is a summary of other people's work.
