Universal quantification in Old Hungarian

The point of departure for this presentation is the inventory of OH expressions conveying maximality. The data support the hypothesis that early OH was characterised by the prevalence of A-quantification. The main focus of the talk is the  D quantifier 'minden' 'every' and its effects on the underlying logic of Hungarian sentences.
