Universal dependencies and the Uralic languages: The great thing about standards...

Absztrakt:

This talk is about the Uralic languages in the Universal Dependencies project and the challenges of coming up with an inter-Uralic compatible annotation scheme for treebanks that have been developed by disparate research groups in different countries. It will cover an introduction to universal dependencies, some specific issues in compatibility between the Uralic languages and some prospects for future collaborative work.
