The Institute joined the 3 year international TrendMiner project funded by the European Union which is in progress since November 2011. The main goal of the project is the real-time analysis and monitoring of user-generated content in social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc.). The department's duty is the sentiment analysis and psychological content analysis of messages (comments) written in Hungarian mainly in the political domain.
