Abstracts are solicited for 30-minute presentations (plus 10 minutes for discussion) that make a contribution to our understanding of the structure of the language and/or the structure of linguistic theory, including any characteristic of the morphology, phonetics, phonology, syntax, semantics, or pragmatics of Hungarian.
Anonymous, maximally two-page abstracts including examples/illustrations and references (with one-inch/2.5cm margins all around, in a font no smaller than 12pt, written in English) should be submitted as PDF files to the following address: icsh11@nytud.hu in an attachment to a letter specifying the author(s) and their affiliation(s), as well as the section to which the prospective paper belongs. Papers presented at the conference are eligible for publication in the series Approaches to Hungarian, published by John Benjamins, Amsterdam (http://benjamins.com/#catalog/books/atoh/main)
One person is allowed to submit maximum two abstracts: one as a sole author or co-author, and another as a co-author.
Authors will be notified of acceptance of their abstracts until May 1, 2013.
