1. Technical information for oral presentations:
20-minute presentations are followed by 10-minute discussion periods. A laptop with MS Windows OS and a projector will be set up in each lecture room. Presenters are asked to send their presentation slides to the conference organisers (imm20@nytud.hu; subject field: presentation slides) in advance, no later than 2:00pm on August 31. Presenters are not encouraged to use their own laptops for the presentation, but allowances can be made in this respect on an individual basis if requested. If you intend to present using your own Mac laptop, please remember to bring an adapter for HDMI output, too, if needed. Please note that we can only provide a Windows-based technical environment. Should you need any further technical equipment or aid, please let us know ASAP.
We are intending IMM to be a paperless conference for environmental reasons. If you nevertheless wish to bring handouts, we kindly ask you to prepare the necessary quantity in advance.
2. Technical information about the posters:
The largest poster we can cater for is 88 cm (width) x 128 cm (height), i.e., any A0 size poster can be conveniently fitted on our boards in 'portrait' orientation. Other than size, there are no other limitations on or specific requirements for posters.

Lunch
Hotel Benczúr can provide lunch by a fixed menu to those interested, and willing to order and pay in advance. The price is 2800 HUF/day (= 7 EUR/day) for a single-course lunch, with a choice between a vegetarian and a general dish. If you want to make use of this opportunity, you should place your order no later than August 29, AND make a payment between 9:00 and 11:00 am on September 1, i.e., immediately on arrival at the conference site, in the hotel. (Look for "Éttermi iroda" close to the Budapest lecture hall.) Payment can be made by bank card, or in cash. (If you want to pay in euros, please prepare the exact amount, because the hotel cashier may not be able to return any change in euros.) Those interested should proceed to the order form HERE.
